{"id":451,"date":"2011-08-08T10:38:16","date_gmt":"2011-08-08T05:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reconnectenergy.com\/blog\/?p=451"},"modified":"2011-08-08T10:38:16","modified_gmt":"2011-08-08T05:08:16","slug":"tnerc-regulation-on-recrpo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reconnectenergy.com\/tnerc-regulation-on-recrpo\/","title":{"rendered":"TNERC&#039;s Regulation on REC\/RPO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Honorable <a href=\"http:\/\/tnerc.tn.nic.in\/\">Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC)<\/a> declared its much awaited <a href=\"http:\/\/tnerc.gov.in\/regulation\/RPO\/RPO-19-2-English.pdf\">RPO\/REC amendment regulation<\/a>.<br \/>\nFollowing are the key highlights of the regulation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RPO Reduced from<strong> 14% to 9% (8.95 Non-Solar + 0.05% Solar) for FY 2011-12<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Eligibility Criteria for RE CPP as per CERC guidelines only.<\/li>\n<li>RPO applicable on OA and Captive Consumers as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>RPO to be implemented in phased manner:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>First Phase (till 31, March 2012): All CPPs\/OA consumers having sanction demand of 2 MVA and above are under RPO<\/li>\n<li>Second Phase (FY-2012-13): All CPPs\/OA consumers having sanction demand of 1 MVA and above<\/li>\n<li>Third Phase (1, April, 2014 onwards): All CPPs\/OA consumers irrespective of sanctioned demand<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><span><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">Try India&#8217;s First Online RPO Calculator <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reconnectenergy.com\/rec\/index.php\/rpo-calculator.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Honorable Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) declared its much awaited RPO\/REC amendment regulation.
